Plain-English summary:we don’t sell your data. We use cookies for the giveaway rate-limit, basic analytics, and remembering admin sessions. If you contact us or enter the giveaway, we keep that information to follow up. That’s the short version — the long version follows.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Prop Firm Sage (“we,” “us,” “the site”) collects from visitors to propfirmsage.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to remove it.

2. What we collect

Automatically, when you visit

IP address (for rate limiting on the giveaway and abuse prevention)
Browser/device information (user agent) and approximate geographic location derived from IP
Pages visited, referrer, time on site (analytics)
A short-lived cookie when you spin the giveaway wheel, to prevent the same browser from playing more than once per 24 hours

When you give it to us

Name and email address, if you win the giveaway or contact us through the contact form
Whatever you write in a contact-form message
Admin credentials (if you operate the site), stored as a signed JWT cookie

What we do NOT collect

Trading account credentials, balances, or P&L
Payment card information (we don’t process payments)
Government IDs, social security numbers, or financial account numbers

3. How we use it

To serve the pages you request
To prevent abuse of the giveaway (one entry per IP per 24 hours, plus bot detection via Cloudflare Turnstile)
To deliver giveaway prizes, consolation discounts, and respond to contact-form messages
To improve the site — understand which firms and comparisons people look at most
To attribute affiliate-link clicks so partner firms can credit our sign-ups (no personally identifying information is shared with the firm beyond what they collect themselves when you sign up)

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

pfs_giveaway_attempt— one giveaway spin per browser per 24 hours
pfs_session— admin authentication, only set if you log in to the admin dashboard
Cookies set by Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on the giveaway form)
Analytics cookies if/when we enable them — we’ll update this section first

5. Who we share it with

Email service provider— to deliver giveaway codes, consolation offers, and contact-form responses
Database hosting (Supabase)— stores giveaway sessions, winners, and contact submissions
Cloudflare— bot protection (Turnstile) and CDN
Affiliate networks— only the click event itself; no personal information is forwarded to firms by us

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

Giveaway session records and winner records: indefinitely (audit trail for prize distribution)
Contact-form messages: until resolved + 12 months
Server logs (IP, user agent, request paths): 90 days

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (US states with privacy laws, EU/UK, Canada, etc.), you may have the right to:

Ask what information we hold about you
Request that we delete it
Correct anything that’s wrong
Opt out of email communications (each email has an unsubscribe link)

8. Children

Prop Firm Sage is not intended for children under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page when we change anything material. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
