Prop Firm Sage

Affiliate Disclosure

How we make money — and why it doesn’t change what we recommend.

The short version

Some links on Prop Firm Sage are affiliate links. When you click one and sign up with the firm, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how this site stays free for traders to use.

Our editorial choices are not influenced by which firms pay us more. Featured placements, the Sage rating, comparison verdicts, and giveaway prizes are determined by us based on operational quality and trader-facing factors — not commission rates.

Where the affiliate links are

  • Buy / Get deal / Visit firm buttonsthroughout Compare, Deals, and firm pages. These route through our internal redirector at /go/{firm-slug}so we can track click counts, then forward to the firm’s site with our affiliate ID.
  • Talk to Sage CTAs— when Sage recommends a firm, the “Visit” link is an affiliate link.
  • Giveaway prize redemption codes— the redemption URL we email to a winner uses our affiliate tracking parameters.
  • Tools page— some trading tools we link to are affiliate partners.

Where there are no affiliate links

  • The Sage rating — calculated independently from affiliate revenue
  • Editorial firm reviews and the Compare table’s underlying data
  • The methodology, FAQ, glossary, and other reference content

How featured firms are chosen

Featured firms (the ones surfaced at the top of Compare and on the homepage) are picked by us based on consistent operational quality — verified payouts, rule clarity, support responsiveness, and trader feedback. Commission rates are not a factor. If a featured firm’s commission goes to zero tomorrow, they stay featured. If a non-featured firm doubles our commission tomorrow, that doesn’t move them up.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR Part 255 (“Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”). Affiliate relationships are also called out in our footer on every page.

Questions

If you ever feel a firm’s placement on the site looks off — too prominent, not prominent enough, missing entirely — tell us. We take editorial integrity seriously and will explain (or correct) the call.
